Though parting was such sweet sorrow...
...it has brought some sweet happiness.There is no chemo recommended, which is awesome. I had decided not to go through with it anyway, but it feels much better to have my doctor on board with me. He says my diabetes complicates matters much more and he doesn't want to take the chance of sending me into DKA (diabetes ketoacidosis) again as that could be very dangerous. I'm ecstatic at this news and it has made my year...ok aside from the fact that I'm still getting married on July 21. Tee.
I also will have no more monthly pains, pangs, flows, whatever you want to call it. I can find reason to rejoice in this knowledge.
Quoting my doctor...I can now "get back to normal"
Note: I did not state earlier that this last surgery was a hysterectomy. They found no other cancer after performing this surgery and that brings us to the above sentiments. I knew 2007 was not shot to shit.
